The Marineland Double Bright LED aquarium lamps are geared toward mainstream aquarium users and winning them over to LEDs would take the right price points and not just their slim style, nice light and ease of use. Marineland got it right. When 3reef got the suggested retail price list, our eyes bulged out a bit. They were lower than expected! These are going to sell. And, more importantly, get a bunch of average aquarium hobbyists on board with LED aquarium lamps. Prices below.

Wow! At the very least these are going to be hot items on FO and FOWLR tanks.

That pricing makes me want to buy one or 2 for my future frag tank.

And that is MSRP, so it could even be lower priced!

Are these going to be able to keep coral alive? I like the price a lot but the thing is...is it going to work?

they are giving lumens because the PAR is probably not high enough to support corals. the rep said that these wont but if there is a large demand for these lights, future ones will be able to support corals

makes sense now why JBJ is offering a nanocube with LED lighting for the same price as PC lighting
