The Marineland Double Bright LED Lamps will be hitting the stores by the end of the year and look very promising for the average hobbyist. They are slim - the slimmest LED lamp 3reef has seen - light-weight with a solid build. Moving these around to get to the aquarium will be a breeze. Prices and specs to follow as soon as we get them. More pics in post.

3reef is sifting through a sea of dog biscuits at SuperZoo Pet Expo in Las Vegas to bring you the latest. More to follow. :)

    I am with Steve.

I want to see the $$ costs for this one, and what kind of PAR numbers and other features it will have.

When PFO came out with the Solaris, it was hyped to be the best in lighting. Maybe it was, but pricey, and PFO had huge lawsuit over thier solaris that did not go over well for PFO. That is why you don't see solaris fixtures for sale at any retail store.

I really think LED lighting IS the future of reefing, Marineland making this one is a big step for LED.

Those look sick, Matt, any chance for a FTS picture with them on a tank?

The reps didn't even know how much they will cost.
All that was known were the white lights are 1 watt and the blue are .6 watts.
They will know more in a month I was told.
