Water Shimmer Effect Reduction

I need to see this...I just put 500W of BL panels on my 90 custom acrylic and I love the shimmer.....maybe you need to lower your surface agitation???

To add to this a normal reef has major shimmer on it, LED's add as much if not more shimmer than MH do. To me this is good as a diver living in Florida I see shimmer on reefs with my own eyes....Leave it alone

Been married for 23yrs this time around LOL.....there is an "ART" to listing not but not really... LOL

 

Mine did the same thing! Just wait a little bit and it should start to de-shimmer. At first it was really intense and could of given me a headache!

 

I really enjoy it myself.....but if you have nerver dove on a super clear reef you might not know or understand.....

 

How does it "de-shimmer"? You have a Rapid LED kit?

Here is a pic at 100%, a lot brighter compared to CF.

 

The back wall is very blue, but I think the tank looks nice.
