That's an excellent idea. Beautiful tank there!
That looks awesome! Have you got this in the tank yet!
Thanks AV....good stuff!
Come on man lets see it!!!
I have often wondered why reefers don go with "scenes" in ther tanks.
Lets have a look!
We need pics.
Yes, the "rock rack" has been in the tank for about a month....along with one lonely yellow tail damsel. I plan to take some pics tomorrow. Thanks for the compliment.....makes all the work worthwhile Kas
Thanks Av8! I'm pretty happy with it, and hopefully wont have the urge to rearrange it all anytime soon!
One thing I did in a personal tank I had, (after I like them for a month, I tear down and start again because I think the designing is the fun part - don't worry fish get good homes before) is I took a gorgonian skeleton, and wrapped and glued macros to it, making a "macro tree".
It is the thing on the right:
Maybe that can give you some ideas.
since this is being brought back up. i was thinking instead of rock you can make hills and valleys out of bioballs stuck together. i not sure how you would get them to stay down. but it would be cool and give your tank more surface area then live rock ever could.
I wish I had made mine more exciting. Maybe i'll do something interesting with my seahorse tank
