refugium build

    yea, i have an over flow box that feeds the wet dry system then a 900gph sump

    The easiest way is to place your refugium next to your sump, but a little higher. T off your feed to your sump and put a ball valve in it to control flow to refugium. Then have an overflow, or have a bulkhead from your refugium back to your sump.

    I will try to find a drawing to explain it better.

    thats cool, so i should get a nother over flow box to goto the refuge then have the sumps sucking out of the filter and the fuge but on the fuge side have a ball valve?
    oooorrrrr! should i T off of the over flow box i have now?

    Forgot the part about the light..Thanks! When you get a light, you want to have close to the same amt. of watts p.g... some will ay no for this, but I know my chaeto didn't start to really grow until I added a better light, which wasn't really much better, but it worked. I had a 36" pc fixture. 4x96, if I remember correctly.

    so what im thinking is getting a 10g tank, putting some mud and sand down... rock....mangroves... other fuge stuff.... and having a little over flow box go down to it, and having the pump from my wet dry pump from the wet dry and my fuge... will that work?

    Not sure I follow your plumbing path here. Can you draw a diagram.
