Behind my tank is a set of stairs. On the other side of that is a closet.

This will end up being a small room where I can finally get an RO/DI unit, water reservoir, ATO and auto dosing pumps. I will document the build here.

I started the investigation on another thread
    http://www.3reef.com/forums/general-reef-topics/access-panels-need-ideas-66083.html

Now that I'm going forward, I thought I'd do a full build thread.

I'm going to put a 5 gallon bucket in there with a PH to make saltwater and another 5 gallon bucket that will just hold spare RO/DI freshwater. In addition to the 5 gallon ATO reservoir. I will run the little tubes through the wall in an oversized cable wall face plate to the tank.

I'll also store all my bulkreefsupply supplement buckets (etc) in there. I'm going to build little shelves and make a small shelf/table. you may notice in one pic, I have a chair in there.

And maybe some other stuff :smokin::pimp2::smoke::smurf:

I have now added power receptacles (starting w/a GFCI outlet) and added the light to the existing hardware.

That will be it, pretty much for now. In next couple of weeks I will research and get an RO/DI unit, ATO, float valves, dosing pumps, timers, etc. Around that time, I will build the necessary shelving, etc.

    Stay tuned ;D

I added a plastic sheet ceiling to catch any fall-out.

Found a rug that fits exactly... awesome race track!!! :drive:

Also found a table thing at a garage sale that fit perfect for three bucks!

Hurray. So I moved some stuff in there...

    I can fit 4 <break> 5 gallon buckets under/behind this table. So that's nice.

Looking good! And what's the use of a road if you got nothin' driving on it? Get an RC car or something. Then you will have a pretty handy man space down there :D
