I have to admit I don't deserve to win, I just joined today, I am trying to learn saltwater tanks, build out what I have started, and not do anything dumb. I haven't even start putting coral in my tank yet. I have to admit I have no cool pics of my tank, cuz I have no clue how to post them. I don't use facebook, and I don't know where twitter is.

I can say that I am as excited as fish poop to be doing my first saltwater tank after 30 years of freshwater for what thats worth.

I guess I didn't sell myself well so I probably won't hear from you guys. Oh and to top it off my tank is 36-inches so that would pretty much seal my fate...oh and I am from NJ so that would be the icing on the cake i guess.

But I am sure I would put it to good use.

    1) the reason i would love to win this is because it would let me create an uber awesome coral only tank. Or let my dad and me start a fragging thing. Since we both have tanks.

    2) I have been a fan on FB since it started.

Hi Matt! We are some of Alex's (you may know him as ingtar_shinowa) corals. We like our home pictured here, but we DO have a problem. There are so many of us orphans we are grouped all over the place and don't have a permanent home yet.

    <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/?action=view&current=FTS.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/FTS.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

    <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/?action=view&current=Rack3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/Rack3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

    <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/?action=view&current=rack2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/rack2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

    <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/?action=view&current=rack1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/rack1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

If you gave us a LED light, Alex's would put it on a 10 gallon drilled frag tank he has set aside! It would be so easy to give us extra feedings and help us grow big so we can get our OWN PLACE ON THE REEF! Also it would help us from The Phantom!!!!!!

    <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/?action=view&current=RAWR.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee392/ingtar_shinowa/RAWR.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Who is The Phantom you ask? Well Alex did about 1 hour less research than he should of, and bought a green clown goby who scares us! He bites us day and night, but then disappears for weeks! All we know is at our size we aren't safe on the reef yet! Please help us get a new place to grow and get strong! Thank you Matt!

Added and promoted the page on my facebook and added you on twitter!!!!!!

If I had the light I’d use it for my 29g reef if it has hanging brackets since my current fixture does not and is lying diagonally across the tank (though I have rigged a ghetto way of hanging it, I’m not sure about actually doing so).

Alternately I could use it on my 20T display fuge to my 46 bowfront. Right now I have a HD clamp on reflector with a 6500k twisty bulb. With the Marineland fixture I could section off an area to use for a frag rack and it’d look far nicer than the ghetto style lighting I have now J and since it's in my living room I'd be much happier with hte look of my reef/display fuge.

I "liked" 3 reef on Facebook and posted a link to my wall.

I would have to buy all new equipment and start my first ever reef tank. (at the moment it's all in my head so I have no pictures to put here. But, if I won and set up the new tank I would then post pictures of it).

Anyway I would finnally be able to set my 7 gallon frogfish nano tank up in my room. i was going to do led anyway and it is quite hard to find a light for a 17in tank.
