my monti cap growth rate good?ok?poor?

    trying to find out how the growth rate of my montipora is.

    got it right around Feb Th.27th
    it was a rectangle about 1.5 inches long by 1 inch tall

    its now pretty much a cricle about 2.5 inches in diameter.

    so about one inch in 4-5 weeks. is that good? average? or poor

    so thats like an inch in a month and a weekish right? looks good to me!

    I've got a green cap that has almost doubled since the 27th of Feb. so it must be normal. good looking coral there too!:)

    Dude...it's all different. I have 6 Montis in my tank and everyone of them grows different. I have a green one that grows like a weed, down to my Superman or Orange one that is very slow going.

    Green, Idaho Grape, Chilli pepper, Purple Haze, Orange , Superman. The Green probably grows 4-5 times the rate of the Superman.

    Sounds like some good growth to me, mines only been in the tank about a month but i'm starting to be able to see noticable growth now :)

    ha, this is funny. to bad my light just went off. i was going through my older threads. ill try and take a picture of this thing now. its like plate size (not dinner size like salad size : )
