my monti cap growth rate good?ok?poor?

trying to find out how the growth rate of my montipora is.

got it right around Feb Th.27th
it was a rectangle about 1.5 inches long by 1 inch tall

its now pretty much a cricle about 2.5 inches in diameter.

so about one inch in 4-5 weeks. is that good? average? or poor

so thats like an inch in a month and a weekish right? looks good to me!

 

I've got a green cap that has almost doubled since the 27th of Feb. so it must be normal. good looking coral there too!

 

Sounds good to me. That monti is beautiful!! You're doing somethin' right!

 

Dude...it's all different. I have 6 Montis in my tank and everyone of them grows different. I have a green one that grows like a weed, down to my Superman or Orange one that is very slow going.

Green, Idaho Grape, Chilli pepper, Purple Haze, Orange , Superman. The Green probably grows 4-5 times the rate of the Superman.

Sounds like some good growth to me, mines only been in the tank about a month but i'm starting to be able to see noticable growth now

 

ha, this is funny. to bad my light just went off. i was going through my older threads. ill try and take a picture of this thing now. its like plate size (not dinner size like salad size : )
