So if I keep this up, this will be a pretty pic intense thread. So I decided to do a thread dedicated to this. I'll start out with the ever popular FTS. I have had my tank since Oct. 08. I changed my aquascape around and did a lot of work. I will just go by July 09 since that is when most stuff was in place.

Here it is in July 09

Here it is 3 months later in Oct 09

And here it is today in Jan 10

And here it is April 10'

I will do individual stuff coming up. Right now, I'm just going by July for 2 quarterly updates.

Here is a pride and joy. I got this Frog spawn from the LFS owner. It was her's at home that broke. I put it in my tank and it dissolved. This is what I started with.

Two heads are dead. The other two heads died after that, and the only thing that lived are the two little baby heads to the right. Well I didn't want to throw it away as long as the little shoots lived. It stayed like that for months, then just one day heads sprouted everywhere.

    Here is July.

    Here is October.

Here it is today. I wanted to wait till lights out to get a shot of all the heads. You can see how big it is in the FTS above.

This is my other frog spawn. Different colors. I put the stalk in the rock work now it has grown solid. Can't get it out. You can see it in the FTS above on the right side of the tank. Ijust wanted to show this pic cause the heads are a little weird. Growing almost as fast as the other.

I got a Candy Cane early on. It is sort of hard to see growth cause the heads just keep dividing. I will show you what I started with. 5 heads around March 09.

Here it is today with over 40.

    great thread Powerman

always interesting to see growth, often when you look at your own tank everyday, the growth is so subtle you dont notice it, but images like this with time scales show it cleary

that candy cane is a monster now and the survival story on the frogspawn is also really cool.

Here is some Idaho Grape Monti I got around the same time, May 08. Plus some other Orange cap that has been together.

    Here they were in October.

And here they are today. The orange and Purple came together. The Purple is winning that one. The Orange does not grow very much.

    Here it is April 10'
