    Well it does help build strong bones. Wouldn't this work for coral? lol.

    What about just putting the crushed oyster shell in the sump.

    take a 10" filter canister fill it with aragonite, plumb it so that your RODI topoff runs through it, the sand will dissolve in the RODI.

    i like the idea of crushing the oyster shell and tumbling it with sand you could add to your tank! A childs rock tumbler would work but thats alot of money, so the idea would consist of creating a cheap rock tumbler! hmmmm

    i'm waiting for some pro's on this, but how would this not be a great way to break it down! i see some clogging issues, but those could be overcome!
