    Bean Animal FTW!

Anyways, did you drill the tank yet? Make sure the main and the emergency holes are at the same height and the secondary is slightly higher than them by like 5/8".

I have done the pretty similar stuff like:
    -BeanAnimal with 1.5" pipes
    -strainer on the inlet mouths
    -coast to coast internal overflow
    -etc

You should take a look at my 90 build thread. I tried to include pics as many as possible.

    And pics?

still havent drilled, my hole saw hasnt arrived yet ! pissed !

just took a look at your setup, creative with the zip ties there, i like that idea, i wish i went with black elbows too but i didnt think about the hole threaded till after i bought my stuff

now why must their be a height different with the secondary?? the one with the air line correct?

I beleive the theory is to give time for the full siphon or (main) standpipe to kick in. All of mine are the exact same height and it works just fine, although it does take a couple of minutes for the system to stabalize after a restart. Exactly's thread is definitely worth checking out also ;)

I see where that theory could be correct, but i hate the idea of seeing uneven holes lol i think either way the setup will work just fine, as how yours does
Exactly's thread is nice build like the setup , i thought about the shorter overflow so you have room for the return but i feel like its not pleasing to the eye, coast2coast for me with your return style

i was think one return since i have exactly 2 extra bulkheads.. but i feel 2 is best right?

What size is your tank? I went with 2 just because I wanted to have one on each side pointing up to get the entire surface agitated. I wouldn't say 2 returns are neccessary.
