Also known as a Geometric Pygmy Hawk because of it's looks and perching behavior. Actually a member of the basslet family of fish. Very peaceful, somewhat shy, a deep water fish. Mine was very rarely seen when I had it in a 34 gal with metal halide lighting. When moved to a 55 gal with T5 lighting the fish is out much more. Plus, I believe in a small space, 21" cube, it may have felt intimidated by the other fish. With more real estate to move about it is much more active and out in the open.
