My new Flame Scallop is fun to play with. We have a LED flashlight that's somewhat bluish. Shine it at him, and he starts blinking more vividly than usual along the edges of his mantle. Take it away, and he'll retract that layer of mantle. Repeat until you can see the inner scallop. It's kindof fun, but I try not to do it more than once... an hour... or so... XD
