So after talking to half a dozen teachers...
I found out that MY biology teacher actually has fish tanks at home and does research and stuff.
So I asked him if he might be interested on building one in GSW.

To my surprise we already have some tanks that we can use. Although they are in fairly bad shape.. ( very dirty, lots of algae, lots of dry salt.. You get te picture..

So what we are going to do, is clean it real well and set it up.

For what I was able to see,we have a 55g tank a 30something gallon tank, and a few 20 gallon tanks. we have a refugium for the 55g. And all the plumbing and machines. :)

Lol I took some pics of the mess to fix but right now I cant upload :p

We have some BR but we'll need more.
I'll probably get some from reef cleaners.

And I will be ordering stuff from LA.

Is there any concerns with this? Questions?

( I will be going tomorrow to so some cleaning, and make sure of what we have and what we need.

Only concern I see with this , is arranging cover/ someone to take care of the tanks during long holiday periods
I dont know what the holidays are like where you are studying, but in UK and in China they have a summer break thats 6 - 8 weeks long and only maintenance/ care takers/ Janitors are on site

if you can arrange weekly visits by either yourself or AN Other competants aquarist
then it sounds like a great project and a great way to stay in touch with your hobby during this long absence from your own set ups

    good luck with it Elwes
