Thanks bama..I always wear gloves when I stick my hands in the tank.

And mike if I had the room I would buy the other zoas they had 20.00 bucks on it but there probably is atleast 150 polyps on it. I guess I need to get my 75 gallon setup.

From what I have read zoa's aren't that bad. Many people handle them, its the Palythoa's that are the real bad.

    WHAT?!

Wish I was closer. You could cut enough frags out of there to get at least $150.00.

The evolution of this thread has made me curious. What can happen from handling zoas or palys bare hand?

what I have read is they have can release some kind of toxin and if it gets on your skin or in your eye,(wear goggles too when fragging) you better make a trip to the dr.

Interesting. I frag almost every day with no gloves or goggles. Maybe I should run to the store before diving in the tank today.

Fragging Zoas barehand left me throwing up for an hour, short of breath, and a racing pulse like I was working out.. I almost went to the dr, but I had friends with me watching to make sure I didnt get worse.. I felt bad for about 2 days after the fact..

First pic to me looks like radioactive dragon eyes and a few whammin watermelons. Everyone seems to have that combo!
