Ummm, also might be one of those strange indicators that a WC is due.

    Done one lately?

Hey thanks Reef! I got some other zoa's about a week ago and they're not doing so well either, none have opened and some have even disappeared. I think I'm going to end up with a tank full of leather corals...it's the only thing I can keep alive(with my fish and crabs and 1 cbshrimp) ughhhh oh well..... I don't know...it's pretty discouraging...:( hell, I can't even get coralline to grow.....

Not much help here but I know how it feels, I had one of my largest colonies of about 40 or 50 Zoa's close up then wither away and most of them died. There are a few left and they now seem to be coming back ever so slowly. The really freaky part is it was not Zoa pox or spider's they just died when another colony sitting right next to them has grown 2 fold since!

So I am sorry to see yours doing the same.

I am closely following this thread on RC, it is about dosing with vitamin C and how it seems to be helping with this kind of problem. I haven't tried it yet but others have and seem to be having good results.
