    hey peeps -

i came home from work today and noticed black hard stuff coming out of the zoa's mouth.... have never seen any of my zoas do that before. Is this a problem or is it just waste. They are still open and very colorfull. Thanx!

Yep, just expelling waste! Eventually you'll see all of them do it from time to time. Nothing to worry about.

Waste, all corals with an obvious oral opening will do it. Sometimes you get lucky? to see them do it.
