You have no idea, my friend. It started when a friend tore down his tank and he had this huge acan that his clowns hosted in every night. He didn't want to separate them, so they went into the sump under a Boost PAR38 LED bulb. I have been working on a frag tank downstair, their eventual home. The problem is, the frag tank took a back-burner as the "free tank" is NEVER free. So, it's been "cycling" live rock for a while. I don't feel comfortable putting them down there, so they still are in my sump.

HOWEVER, since I had that par38 on their, and I can't stop collection corals... this is what has happened.

All the acans are doing so well in here, I can't stand to move them until they grow more and more. I don't know if I got too crowded up front, but it's possible. I had chalices near acans..... it's like having the bloods xmas party right next door to the crips clubhouse...

You can see here, the clowns are never far from their home. Someday, they'll be in a tank with a nem and I wonder what will happen then...

haha wow. Your sump is like another tank!
But isn’t the sump supposed to clean the DT? How does that work if you have delicate corals in there?
    Pretty awesome!!

Yes, 100% agree. It started out as a temporary holding area, then things went well and I kept adding one or two corals back there... slippery slope.
I do run some cheato, not as much as I would like to though.

    Thank you :)
What started out as a temp situation has turned into something that I'll look at just as much as I do the DT.
