    I have actually been looking into a nano reef
    I think they look awesome!!
    yea this big tank is somewhat of a money hungry tank
    but I love it

    IMO two things made my tank really take off. 1.) Making my own water. The LFS around here suck and only ran carbon filters before making there water, I don't know if you make or buy, but I would suggest you make it with some high quality salt mix.
    2.) Stability. Test everything you dose, and constantly check all levels to ensure consistency. Someone already mentioned this, but I think it is pretty darn important. Salinity swings, temp swings, nitrate spikes (bioballs) all can cause fish or coral sickness or even death.

    hahah I understand that. I personally love nanos, but you can't have the larger fish. Good luck with your tank bud.

    Thanks for the great help and advice everyone. You have deffinately helped me to fall in love with this site lol. I found some testers and will be testing my water tomorrow for all sorts of things "fingers crossed" lol
