    I will say this, having more fish in no way guarantees better filtration or maintenance. This is a board statement, it needs to be more specific.

    As a general rule is best to stock less than more and to buy a bigger system if you feel like your pushing the limits stocking wise.

    Comes down to common sense.

    If you feel you're pushing the stocking limit you probably are.
