You know you're a saltwater hobbyist WHEN...

When you are running late to work because you can't stop looking at your tank.


Telling yourself that you wont buy anymore coral/fish for awhile but then buy another one later in the day.

 

You tell your fish "It's time to go night night" when you turn the light off in the same voice that you talk you use when you tuck the kids in.

 

You dig old tanks out of storage and spent way too much time reminiscing about the good times you had together on the drive home like some sort of ex that's drunk dialed you.

 

When you spend seven hours of your work day on 3reef and one hour rushing through your work.
When your kids rather go to the LFS than the Florida Aquarium.

Why spend time cleaning the house when your guest are just gonna dirty it anyway. You'll just have to clean it again in the morning or that evening.

I can relate to 98% of all the ones written here. Good stuff.

 

The first thing you do is check on your aquarium, instead of kiss your wife, when you get home.

(my wife is usually asleep when I get home, lol)

 

When you take your girlfriend on "vacation" to the keys... so you can pick up a mantis shrimp from a local collector. (guilty)
