    No you know your not a rookie when you have carnation tree corals growing like weeds in you tank. I have yet to ever see this haha.

    LOL, funny you say this. I recently picked up a red carnation, so far so good. Lots o phyto. We will see!

    you know your not a rookie anymore when you have nice enough coral that you can trade frags to the lfs for all you basic tank expenses and get a new coral now and then with out paying out of pocket.
