    I built my 20g long fuge 2 days ago and today I water tested it and no leaks! The design worked just like I wanted it too ;D;D I will have a build thread up for my tank in a week or so btw

    Here they are, I have no sump because I cant fit a skimmer under my stand so this is strictly a fuge and I have HOB skimmer on my tank. If you have any questions on the design feel free to ask.

    The water flows through the section in the corner through media like carbon and an occasional polishing pad and over the larger square in the corner which acts like a bubble trap and keeps the DSB out of the media

    I think that will work fine for now. You might later but until it is needed I wouldn't worry about it.
