That's sad. Sorry to here.
I don't lose any corals other then flower pots but if I do lose a coral I really don't care other then the money also with some fish I have had that wear mean and die off cause they ware mean ie basslet eat cleaner shrimp and choked LOL but my yellow tang I had him when he was under 1" In my 10g one a year ago now in my 42g I think he was just over 2" and supper yellow
Till he spit his head in two on the prop
Sorry to hear about that
Maybe I should stop running my tank at 170 volts cause it's making bulbs burn out ever 6-7 mounts and filters clog up from how my crap it's sucking out of the water. I have a 305 canister and if you put your Hand over the intake it grabs it like a shopvac
is that the only option in the great white north? 170vac?
I was fairly sure they have 120v mains, just like the US.
I'm wondering how you're running 170v on your stuff, OS, and why.
HOW: I use a variac it let's me control the voltage to anything I want. It will do 0-240vac at 30 amps
WHY: I makes lights brighter, pumps faster, heaters quicker, filters stronger, skimmers have more air and even smaller bubbles cause the water faster
More like a waste of electricity, your stuff can only run at the rated speed, etc. If you had bulbs doing 96watt and you give them 100watt, they only do 96watt. Correct me if I'm wrong. In EU they run at 210v.
Losing a fish is no reason to get out of the hobby...Listen, people on here know the story, but i had a FULLY stocked 180...we are talking about 15 fish 100s of corals...all died bc i left the water running when i got a call from my mother(had bad cancer at the time)....i took some time off but id never get out.....head up and dont let a mishad get you out of the hobby at your young age! member...HEAD UP!!! sorry about your lose!
