Thanks for the article I've seen that one, and a couple others that make alot of sense.
The color is kind of in between those two...it is so hard photographing and getting good color representation with these LEDs.

Thanks man. I actually have a semi yellow Pavona, but I am not in love with it. Maybe I'll hunt down a Jason Fox release.
What a happy coincidence! I've had a yellow porites and they always stayed yellow for me. This was when I had vho lighting though.
There was a thread of "favorite tanks" and one of the winning tanks was a sunlit tank (lit for 8 months a year purely by sunlight) and the yellows on those corals were very bright. i assume this has to due with the bluer spectrum of normal tank lighting. Pure yellow is hard to find, but heres a couple of mostly yellow SPS:
