I guess everyone has their own definition, but I've got a t-shirt that says Philadelphia Phillies 2008 World Champions.

that was last year, they might have been the best team last year but this year they have yet to prove they are the best as the yankees own the most wins so there for untill some one beats them in a series they are the best team in the world, phillies would win MAYBE 80 games in the AL

I don't know who's gonna win, but a week an a half ago all I heard was how good the Dodgers were and how Phila was gonna have a tough time beating them. Don't know if you were paying attention, but the Dodgers got whooped.

Phila has a very good team. If their pitchers can hold it together for another series, there isn't any team out there that can beat them.

Regardless of who wins, it should be a great series.

 

yea i agree it will be a great series, both teams have great pitching, i knew phillie would be LA, look at LAs pitching its horrible, no where nears the yankees pitching

You guys are in serious trouble if all you have is great pitching lol. You're gonna need to do better to stop the Phils offense.

 

Yeah great pitching means great middle relief, which the Yankees havnt had in a long time. I am a die hard Yankees fan and am the first to day the Yankks have needed a dominate middle reliever for many years.

 

hmmm have you heard of philip huges and joba? or matte, all three can be very dominate, esp huges and joba, yanks is 6
