    Suggest testing your iodine as the pulsing in mine and general health seems tied to it - I use the red sea pro test kit to keep it spot on around 0.06.

    Understanding dynamics of chemistry is more important than lighting and flow in my experience - chemistry, flow, food/waste management, and lighting in that order for stability and health.

    yes you are on the opposite site of the state, about 5 to 6 hours away i believe. maybe someone closer to you will offer some?
