Back again, How do I frag my xenia?

scissors....just cut really close to the base....and have a net ready cuz they turn to slime...then take the cut piece and put it in a small tupperwear container inside your tank with netting over the top put it on the sand, with some rock in it...it will attach itself in a few days..

 

The easiest way is to set a piece of rubble against the colony. It spreads to anything it touches. This takes awhile but works.
You can cut the stalk and use bridal veil and a rubber band to hole it to a rock until the cutting attaches but I've had a lot of frags melt doing this so I just tie the cutting onto the rock with fishing line until it attaches. The simply snip and remove the piece of line.
