    I realize this is an old thread... but did anyone have any luck trying this? does anyone have any pictures of Xenia growing on glass? Thanks.

    haha you had to revive this thread, now i really want to see an end result as well. maybe i'll got out and get a 2 or 5 gallon tank and try this out.

    I don't think there is a fish that would eat it. If there is, it would probably eat everything else too! I went to see this tank last week, and bought some dry macro rock from him. He has even more than this in the tank now. over half of the front glass is covered. so yes, it can take foot anywhere!
    The poor guy doesnt know what to do. He has a new tank build underway, and he wants me to come saturday and get everything out of his tank for $50! Anybody want some xenia!?
