I agree, Netflix on the Xbox 360 is much smoother, plays quicker, and audio quality is better than it being played on my LG Bluray player

Yep, thats pretty awesome - I must admit. I'm sure it has to be tiring on your arms after some extended play but definitely very cool nonetheless.

Which games did you score to try the new Kinect out with, CJ?

Ok connected my new Kinect. My first reaction, very cool. My next reaction after testing it, Houston We Have Problems.

First issue, I like to play my games, watch my Netflix movies with the lights off. It wouldn't work worth a damn. Though it did say it wants to calibrate in all lighting throughout the day.

The different mounting options on a stand and on the TV don't come with it and must be purchased separately.

The mic does not always pickup commands. Again may improve with more calibration.

For now, all commands with motion require you to be standing.

No Kinect interface for Netflix, Facebook, or Twitter as of now.

Finally, you must select the far left or right arrows to swipe to difference pages.

In a nut shell, Microsoft does have the right idea, just not sure if developers can pull it off and the Kinect software still needs tweaking.
I will tell you this, if I can not get this to work right within the next couple if days, I will be returning it.

that is always what I hated about console gaming, they nickel and dime you to death, or more realistically $5 and $10 you.
