    my best guess is a creole wrasse or a Bodianus rufus (Spanish hogfish).

    thank you, I thought it was a Spanish hogfish, but for the life of me could not remember the name of it

    Yes, after looking up a few more pics, you definitely have a Spanish hogfish there.

    100% spanish hog, I saw a boatload of them while diving in Puerto Rico the other week.

    Now keep in mind they are not reef safe.
