Question is, should you slow flow down at night when corals are out to eat? In a FOWLR, absolutely. Reef tank, not at all (IMO).

I'd go with the 25's, more is better IMO. As for night mode, I love it. I dont think there is much impact on coral if you run night mode or do not.

I have nothing to back up either way obviously. All I know is the feeding tentacles/polyps are out to feed at night. Keeping the flow moving would give the best chance of them being able to feed, I would think. Maybe someone else could chime in with at least some anecdotal evidence.

I have the WP-25 in my 20 on maxed Else Mode and don't feel I have enough current.

I got my wp25 today and that thing is a beast. I'm having trouble getting it dialed in. My torch is getting hammered. I have it set on W1 S3. I turned the dial down to the left and right but it's still to powerful. On else mode how do you turn it down. Thanks.

Your going to need the voltage regulator to dial it down in ELSE mode.

I have 2 WP25's in my 54 corner and it's too much on Else and W3 mode. I have to run them in C mode at about 50% to avoid a sand storm.

I wish I had gone with 2 WP10's, that way I could use all the modes and not have to worry about sand storms and coral damage.
