    That would work. I'd be careful with sps though. They would have to be near the top. Others who know more about sps can chime in.

    thanks for the input, also what do you guys know about these marineland double bright reef capable led's, will they grow anything?

    thats very small only 12W of power output. I wouldnt waste that 50 bux and put it towards something that would actually work, if your interested in leds, check out Boostled. their par 30 would be plenty on a 5 gallon.

    i know i just dont know how i can get one, im not allowed to order online all of the sudden. lol and nobody nearby has them. the guy on craigslist that had the par38 for 70 bucks sold them all already. so im kinda stuck here.

    ive done it many times before but i guess my parents are fed up, they say ill get scammed or something. they do this often just make up random rules.

    Bust your butt around the house and plead to mom n dad that you need it. lol. Thats what i would do, other than that just call a LFS and see if they cant get it for you. or have your parents supervise you as you make the purchase to assure them what your getting and that it goes through smoothly. if you cant buy anything online, how were you planning on getting the 1st fixture thats online lol.
