would either of these work for a 40 gallon breeder tank
I just got the reefbreeders bridgelux fixture for my 65 and it covers it great.
so you think those would work ?
Well...I,don't have the tank setup yet,but I do have the lights hung and can say they are far more impressive than the t5's over my 55.
well maybe they will work. i can always wait for one of the lighting experts to finally chime in lol
Yeah, don't trust me on led's,lol,i'm not new to reefing, but this is my first set i've owned and just sayin the coverage over my 65,which is similar to your 40,is very good. And they have a much nicer look than my t5's.
mm im sry i didnt mean to insult you if i did. it just sounded like you were unsure of it. but i mean it sounds like from what they say it will do the trick. and again sry if i insulted you in anyway
Not at all,i'm a total newb to led's,so still waiting to try them myself. But just like what I see so far and haven't read anything but good reviews of them.
i found reviews online they sound great and if you look at it sounds like 199 is about what you would pay even if you did DIY (once you add in labor hours and such)
I didn't want to build one,and I was an electrician for 23 years, lol. But,if you know what you're doing, they don't sound too hard to build and the plus side is you can always add on or change out colors later on.
