Would this light be adequate?

    With 4 or 6 bulbs (whichever I go with... ooh how I can't wait till next week when my taxes are in LOL) how should I choose (as in the white and actinics)??

    That depends, do you like a bluer look or balanced?

    I am not sure HAHA!

    I love the look of extremely bright in your face tanks, but on the other hand, I like the look of ones that are more blue too.

    One thing I DO know, is that I hate "yellow" colored tanks

    If I wanted to do an extremely bright tank, what would you reccomend?

    well im assuming they only let u pick 10ks or atinic id do half and half

    Call me stupid, but do t5's only go to 10k? The higher the K, the brighter the light right?

    no the higher the k the bluer the light......6700k is most like the sun 10k is a birght white then u get to ur like 14ks 15k 20ks

    hey, I wish I caught this post earlier.. Im selling my aquatic life 36" 4 bulb T5 HO if you're interested.. I have replacement bulbs and everything.. I just got a bigger tank and Im about to do a transfer and have no use for them.. let me know what you think?

    I grow 21 types of corals and clams with them and have not had a problem yet.. I love it, and am getting the 48" for my new tank..

    All I can say is if you plan to build a reef, don't save on the lighting.... it's crucial for the corals...
