For lack of a technical "diagnosis" on my part, I can only say that if the anemone has an inverted mouth, the prognosis is usually not good. If, however, your water is good and you have adequate lighting, as long as the anemone does not start rotting away, it has a fighting chance regardless.

By inverted, do you mean inside-out?

"Oh, most of them are plenty educated but they're more in it for the almighty dollar :( "

Uneducated is one thing but to knowingly order a dyed animal knowing that it's health and longevity is severely compromised is dispicable. I cannot fathom doing business that way. Especially knowing that there is a good chance the customer is going to find out the truth. I just couldn't do that to my good name (at least I think it's good). ;)

Yes, inside out. Hopefully, that's not happening to yours.

To give the lfs credit, most of them don't order dyed animals but get them anyway. They could change suppliers when this happens but some of them don't have that option.

    Help

OK, my algae has escaladed into a nice maroon color and the nem is perishing. I got worried because I couldn't see it and broke down the rocks. Should I get to the store first thing and get some selcon or is it a lost cause?
    Thanks,
    Jim

Well, it's not looking good. Where have you got it stored at the moment?

That sucks Mario, sorry for you man. It is reinflated and the mouth is gaping. I am going to the LFS to pick up some Zoecon to nurse it. They don't have selcon so I'm going to try this until I can get some.
