Last night I noticed a couple worms in my tank crawling around in the sand... go the tweasers and pulled them.

Went back during lunch today and saw some more. So I pulled them out as well.

Any idea of what kinda of worms they are??

    Good?? Bad??

I have a fire fish, a clown fish, and 2 hermit crabs.

    Don't know 'bout the worms.

Is that a cannister filter? Water looks real clean.

Thought about painting, or covering the back glass? If you do't clean the back, corralline should cover it a lot.

Mine was painted black on the outside, and after 9mos, you can hardly see the back thru the corralline.

Those are bristle worms. They are good part of your clean up crew.

bristol worms, when i first started this hobby (only about a year ago) all the info i came across depicted them as demons from hell, i had one that was a solid 5 cm long and got rid of it after reading it would do more harm than good, couple of months later i actually learnt they are a good part of you CUC!!! not the most pretty thing but hey they come out while you are sleeping anyway. keep em they powen at eating uneaten food.
