Okay didn't want to add to my previous thread so I started a new one. I had no mesh at home to cover the ricordia shroom that got removed from the rock so I cut one of my fish nets and placed it over the shroom in a low flow area and weighed it down with rock rubble (not on the shroom of course). I read that the shrooms will attach themselves to the substrate and then you can glue the substrate to a rock. This won't harm anything in my tank will it and it being a blue mesh won't cause any side affects will it? This is all I had on hand and I didn't want to lose my 2 rics. How long does it take to adhere to a item? By the way I haven't used this net for anything in a long time as I bought a bigger one to catch anything.

As long as it is cleaned and does not have metal I see no issues.
The netting is not much different than fishing line.

oh no, I cut the net part off from the metal so it's only the mesh. I rinsed it well and it hasn't been used in months.
