    Just dumped it out, looks like a chunk of schmag from stagnant water. Don't even know if it is classified as algae, but it definitely must be a growth of some sort. Wanted to get a pic, but it went down the garbage disposal too quick!

    nope, never have
    stagnet bacterial water, ever been to a swamp with no flowing water that just sits there.

    Yeah, it STINKS!! lol lots of bacteria grow in stagnant environments with no water.
