Why is my Colt Coral Dying

    The KH dropped to a 9 back in July of '09, but before and after that it has always stayed at a 10.

    No. I do have a little flow directed at both back corners but I do stress little.

    I don't think so, or at least it doesn't look like it. The polyps are closed and the arms seem to be drooping but the skin just looks a little shrivled.

    maybe its gonna start budding? thats what my kenya tree did.

    it just might be trying to pup or shedding? idk thought cause mine shriveled up after it pupped like 876543456787654345676543 offspring in my tank...

    haha thanks but i dont think you should be too worried. just dont do anything to stress it out and just keep tight cause my kenya tree did the same thing for about 3 weeks and then was fine.

    I hear ya there! Its taken me 2 years to realize that the best thing to do is just leave it alone and let it grow. I hope you are right about it popping back. I'll make sure to keep this thread updated if anything changes.
