Just added a beautiful baby raccoon bf and a baby flame angel. Immediately after putting the bf in, he looked kinda like he had ich. BUT he's not scratching, twitching ect. Upon closer examination, it looks like larger ich dots, in a cluster on his tail. And on his dorsal fin. None on his body. Is it possible for lympho to show this fast? And he was completely fine during the quarantine period. My question is, does this sound like lympho to you? It's too small for a picture.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It does indeed sound like such. Acclimation can stress a fish out.

Thanks coralline. It's better than ich. Haha, you must think I'm such a horrible fish keeper with all these posts.

Ill just feed him a good diet and reduce stress :)

    Haha

And is lympho contagious? No one else has it, but I've read conflicting info.

FWIW, the last 3 Copper band butterflies I have gotten developed that upon introduction into my tank. the first died for reasons not related to it. the 2nd one ate my prepared foods and did well, but had this spot. the fish lived with it for a while but then went on a hunger strike and passed. the third one i got, I also bought a blood cleaner shrimp at the same time. the Lymphocytosis cleared up and I have had this fish since june 1. he shows perfect health and is a very active fish in my tank. still wont eat prepared foods so it must be eating aptasia and the multitudes of pods I have.

good diet and a cleaner shrimp are good things IMO

Thanks!! I saw your post and I was thinking the outlook didn't look good, but it was haha. Thanks guys. Butterflies can be tricky sometimes. This raccoon is eating mysis, rods, mussels, dried seaweed, emerald entree and marine cuisine. Occasionally soaked in Zoe. He already looks better today :)
