Why does southern food smell bad?

this is making me smile this morn (thanks!)...

so PC - how do you plan on handling your dilemma?

1. confront him and DEMAND answers as to why it smells so vile?

2. eat a huge lunch at work and come home complaining that something you ate earlier isn't agreeing with you and that you will have to pass on dinner? (meanwhile taking the Burger King stash you grabbed on the way home up to your room)...

3. breeze through the door after being out and announcing your new New Year's diet which means that dinner (as wonderful as it smells) is not on the "diet plan approved foods list"?

4. take one for the team - sit at the table, give it a try while feeding it to the family dog when no one is looking?

5. actually force yourself through dinner - complimenting the cook the whole time - while donning a gas mask ?

maybe we should take wagers on whether she is actually going to LIKE the stuff tonight once she tries it!

i get grits up here in PA... they taste terrible!!!
I go to Georgia or NC and get some grits and they are AMAZING!

well, you and i are east-coast so we have to wait a long time to hear the final verdict tonight - however i think we are all going to deserve a final report from her after dinner tonight!

 

o yea its only like 9am out there... gotta wait allll day long!

i think it is a conspiracy - she did this to keep us all in suspense all day while debating the issue.

Northern Food is usually covered in cheese to mask its blandness
