Why does PE mysis smell?

    To further back what Gresham said:

    I feed PE mysis a couple times a day. I never rinse it and I do not have a PO4 issue. And there's no GFO on my tank either.

    I put a cube in a small cup and either put some drops of Selcon on it and leave under the lights or scoop a tiny bit of water in the cup and let it defrost, then I feed. With PE, I dump it in a small fish net, rinse it in water after it defrosts, and then feed so it doesnt cloud tank.

    I'd rather just buy Hikari since it's cheaper and cleaner.
