why are some led lights SOOO expensive?

    yeah, those lights look better than almost anything packaged I'd seen, he def put time into them though. But I agree with those new heatsinks making it easier. Just thought I'd post that it is possible, although my rapid DIY is the opposite of that!lol

    Don't see how 2 of them would be anymore hassle, or 3, or 4 etc.

    I mount my drivers behind the tank like him so thats not an issue.

    Bigger heatsinks rather than multiple smaller heatsinks? Or is there some issue with longer/bigger heatsink that I don't know about?

    I'm just thinking wire management when you get into the 100+ led range. and you are dealing with 8-12 drivers.
