There may be less control, but I also noted that a $50 ($70 for cloud/thunder) typhon board can be used for control. You dont need a full wirelessly controlled Apex.

I never said the Radion is a bad light. I think its great. I just find the price quite a bit high for what you are getting. At least with the Vortech, the performance and features are unmatched.

 

Mainly because DIY parts aren't readily available. One of EcoTechs main selling points is wireless control, which you would need the Apex or equivalent to match performance. The typhon doesn't compare equally.

 

I think he just sold a car, LOL, you're good! Want to work for us? Anyways, the radion is a great light, you just have to pay a premium for it. I do hope that they include some 420nm violets as well, but the exact color combo is not yet revealed. Like I said before, the choice is up to you, personally I would just build something myself, but others would do the opposite. If they can sell a $1000 fixture, good for them!

Never said it was fast....said he liked fast cars and asked about scion so I assume he is asking about the frs and not the xb ...... the frs is rwd and would still be a blast to drive with the boxer engine.
