    Koralias have issues with wave makers too.

    They do have some smaller powerheads that are designed to work with wave makers, maybe the ones you got?

    Seems plausible to me that the ones made to work with the constant on/off of wake makers would work better when hooked to an artificial ac cycle.

    The 12V Koralias need the wavemaker/controller. The controller costs about $250. That's more than I wanted to spend. The controller slowly ramps up the speed of the Koralia so it doesn't get the abrupt start and resulting chatter at startup.
