Well, 2 days or 3 days ago, I added a xenia. And today i found out most of the xenia tips were missing *where pulsers are located*
What can be eating the tip of my xenia?

I have hermit crabs, damsel, clown, and snails.
    Any idea?

My xenia looks unhappy at the moment, and looks ugly.

More likely its just melting for the sake of melting. But if you have a humbug damsel, i believe they are known to nip at xenia

Xenia is a funny one. Is some peoples tanks its prolific and grows none stop like a weed. In other peoples tanks, its alright for a while and then just dies. Its very prolific in my tank, i actually wish it would melt, but i guess it is intresting and does add a lot.

What type of Damsel do you have? Im led to believe its onlt the humbugs that nip at it.

I have a blue fin damsel.

If the xenia melts, will it cause bit problem for my tank? Do they release like acid or something? I heard anemonies do that.
