white spots

    im gettin white spots all over my tank....tank has been runnin for bout 3 months now....i was thinkin they were possibly calcium build up???? :confused:

    dont think so....they dont move....its like a flaky substance

    Dead coralline algae? Do you test for and maintain Calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity? How about a picture?
    EDIT? Spirorbid worms are tiny, calcareous, feather dusters. They are stationary.

    wow mission is on it today.. yeah probably bleached algae (coraline) or something of the sort..
