white spots on purple death palys

    thank you reeron. they seem to be slow to become comfortable in their new home. normal for palys?

    Yes. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks before they all become comfortable. I've had some look great the next day, and others take almost a month before they look great and start to grow. Some are just better shippers than others.

    My understanding is that palys incorporate sand into their stalks as they grow. Do the white spots look embedded in the stalks or on the surface?

    the stalks for the most part, and a little on the very outer edges of the heads
