A few days ago I noticed these white spots on the back of my tank. Since they were not moving I figured they weren't a problem. However, in about 48 hours I went from about 10 to 40. They are stuck to the glass and one of my powerheads. They seem soft yet hard. I don't think they are a type of spiral worm.

Hard to tell, because they are so tiny. Probably not a problem just watch everything closely. I would have said microdusters except you said they have give to them.

The snails I have are astrea, nassarius, bumble bee, turbo, black margaritas, cerith, and nerite snails. I also have some of those slug like snails. They have a half shell. Kinda look like a moving booger. A lot come on frags.

I would say the largest ones are the size of a pin head. To me this rules out ich.

If you look real close you'll see that they are just tiny tube worms with a calcifyed tube. I have them all over my glass and rock as well. They'll pop right off the glass if they're bothering you. hope this helps.

Stomatella snails. Quite nice to get these as a hitchhiker.
